Happy Friday everyone! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week!

Many thanks to everyone who shared your favorite books/authors last week. You’ve definitely helped us build up our reading list.

This week’s question comes from Alyssa at Fight MS Daily. She writes about her journey with MS and how remaining positive helps her get through the day-to-day. If you haven’t checked out her blog, please stop by and say hi. I’m sure she’d love to see you!

Your question this week is

What’s your favorite time of year?

Please tell us about your favorite time of year, and how it came to be your favorite.

I hope you each have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!

Blessings,

~Terri

  1. I love fall. In the North, the air gets crisp and clean, the light it slanting and warm, and we receive nature’s reward in the form of the harvest. In Florida, where I’ve lived for 20+ years, this occurs in late fall and early winter.

    1. Thanks for sharing George! I love the colors of Fall and I like when it first starts to cool off, but I’m such a wimp that as soon as I start needing a coat, I’m ready for Spring.😊 I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Stay safe down there – it looks like you guys are getting a lot of rain.

      1. We had 10 days of mostly rain all day. Now we have a tropical low in the Gulf that will give us “rain off and on” this Sunday or a week of torrential rain, depending on who is reporting. lol
Fall is welcome here after months of 90’s!

      2. Oh my goodness, that’s a LOT of rain! We’re in one of those cycles right now too – once you’re done with your low we’re supposed to be seeing its effects for the next week. We just got done with about 5 days of it so we’re really enjoying these few sunny days.😎

  2. Summer! Well, this is in terms of what is better for my mental & physical health, as I don’t do well with feeling cold all of the time. The problem is that the UK isn’t the best for warm weather, even in the summer months.
I do still like the buds in spring, and the changing colours of autumn though. x

      1. Random days might reach 23 degrees celsius if we’re lucky, highs of 30 on very, very rare occasions and it shocks our bodies because it’s so out of the blue to freeze one day and roast the next! It’s about 11 degrees today with rain. How about where you are? xx

      2. Wow, that’s a little chilly for me for summertime. Our average is about 10 – 15 degrees higher during the summer. It’s about 83 degrees Fahrenheit today, which is a little warmer than normal for this time of year. Have a wonderful weekend, and try to stay warm sweet friend!

  3. For me it’s summer because it just makes me reminisce about a time when I was a kid who had no cares in the world. I spent the summers with my friends, played to my heart’s content and enjoyed the bright colors of the season. It made me feel full of energy.

    1. Thanks for sharing Mark! Kids and summertime just seem to go hand-in-hand don’t they? Reading about your childhood summers made me think about mine and brought a big smile to my face. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  4. I love fall. I’ve always loved that season. There such a sense of calm, clean fresh air, beautiful colors in natures landscapes and such a coziness in the air and the weather is just right. Not to hot not too cold. It’s also a fun fashionable time of year for comfy and stylish layers.

  5. Where I live it’s usually in the high 60s, low 70s so seasons are little lost on me, but I do love the Spring because the flowers and trees begin to blossom, the Summer because of the longer days, Autumn because it’s fun to think about the holidays coming and I used to love Winter because the beaches would clear and I could basically have my beach walks to myself.

  6. Oh how exciting you used my what is your favorite!!! I have to say that fall is my favorite season! It was even better when I lived up north because the trees were amazing, but it is still great in the south. I find the temperatures are much easier! It is not too hot or too cold, it is just right! Now I sound like the 3 bears!! I hope you have a wonderful long weekend!!!

    1. Thanks for sharing Tabitha! I lived in the Tampa area for a few years, and Fall there was nice. I’m too wimpy for Fall in the more northern climates though. I love the colors, but hate the cold. :o) Have a great week and stay safe if you guys get anything from Alberto!

  7. Spring! My love for gardening is the one thing that keeps me active and I work around my chronic pain and illnesses to do just for the joy of seeing the plants grow. Winter cold makes my pain worse AND there’s little to nothing to do in the yard, so springtime is doubly wonderful for me.
