Happy Friday everyone! I hope you’ve had a great week, and are ready to spend some time relaxing over the weekend.
Today my husband and I celebrate 20 years of marriage, and I am so fortunate God brought him into my life. He is such a blessing to me – I don’t know what I’d do without him. We got married 10 short weeks after we met, and here we are celebrating 20 years….. I can hardly believe it’s been that long; it seems like only yesterday….
Okay, enough about me; let’s talk about you.
Thanks so much to each of you who shared your favorite piece of advice for living with chronic illness/fibromyalgia. You sure are a wise group of people! If you missed out on this great advice, you can find it here.
This week’s question comes from Jo Ann at Fearless In Jesus Christ. She writes about living out her faith while living with MS. Please stop by her blog and say hi!
A few weeks ago, we talked about our favorite recent reads. This week, your question is
What’s your favorite book or who is your favorite author?
Rather than being limited to current books or authors, please share your all-time favorites. Of course, if you’re like me, you may have more than one. Feel free to list as many as you like – you can help the rest of us build our reading lists.
I hope you each have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
~Terri
probably not a fav, but a forgotten one (often) – Andre Gide ✌️
and have a good Friday!
Thanks so much for sharing! Have a great weekend!
Happy Anniversary, Terri! Too many favourites, but here are a few: for a good laugh, I love Janet Evanovich. Wally Lamb is an excellent writer, and of course, my all time favourites have to be the Bronte sisters – timeless classics.
Thank you for the anniversary wishes, and also for sharing some of your favorite authors V.J.! Have a fabulous weekend!
You are welcome. Who do you like to read?
I have a hard time narrowing it down, but I read anything Francine Rivers and Joel C. Rosenberg write. I still love to go back and re-read Ken Follet and Robert Ludlum too. I’m a huge fan of spy novels. What does that say about me?😂
umm…you’re mysterious, ha ha?
😄
Anything written by Isabel Allende! “House of Spirits” “Paula” “Inez of my Soul”… she even has children’s books out, I haven’t read these yet but I will. I have always and will continue to be transported by Phyllis Whitney and Alice Hoffman. I like to read for the sheer enjoyment of it.
Thanks for sharing Kim! Have a wonderful weekend!
Happy Anniversary to you both Terri. I love Julia Cameron’s The Artists Way but I am an avid reader and there are so many great books…
Thanks so much for the anniversary wishes and for sharing your favorite book Brigid! Have a lovely weekend!
That’s wonderful news, Terri – congratulations to you both! ♥
A great question for this week, too… I’d go for a favourite author but I’m struggling as I love quite a few who are at the top of my list. Alex Barclay is incredible, and Harlan Coben, Michael Connelly, David Baldacci, Karin Slaughter. Really can’t pick just the one, I’m too greedy!
xx
Thanks so much for the anniversary wishes and for sharing some of your favorite authors! Have a fantabulous weekend!
Happy Anniversary to you both! 🙂 I love fantasy so my favourite books are definitely Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. They’re like my comfort books that I always go back too. xxx
Thank you so much for the anniversary wishes and for sharing your favorite books Heather! Hope you and Dizzy have a fantabulous weekend!
You too. 🙂 xxx
Thank you!
Too many books to name. Favorite author-mentor: C.S. Lewis. But, oh, there are so many others!
Thanks so much for sharing Mitch! Have a wonderful weekend!
You too, Terri.
Thank you!
Happy Anniversary to you and your husband❤! 20 years is definitely something absolutely amazing to celebrate! I am beyond happy that y’all found each other💕! It is so refreshing to read something this incredible! I really hope y’all have a wonderful weekend celebrating your love❤!
I have a few favorite authors and just love their writing. One sounds a little insane because it is all about crime, but the bad guy always loses. James Patterson’s series The Women’s Murder Club is absolutely amazing and so addictive! I am reading the 17th book in the series. I think I read the first 5 or 6 in a few weeks, that is how incredible they are. My other favorite author is out of Australia and she is fantastic. Her name is Kelly Rimmer! I have already read her first 5 books! This was a great “favorite” post!!
I hope your weekend is filled with so much love ❤ and happiness!!
Thank you so much for your anniversary wishes, and for sharing some of your favorite authors Alyssa! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Happy 20th Anniversary! May your weekend be blessed!
Thank you so much Wendi! I hope you have a blessed weekend as well!
Thank you so much!
