Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a fabulous week and are ready for the weekend ahead.

Thanks so much to everyone who shared their favorite way to relax last week! If you missed everyone’s answers, you can find them here.

Your question for this week is:

What’s your favorite way to get some exercise?

I know not everyone can participate in a traditional exercise program due to health reasons, so I’m not just talking about the “going to the gym” type of exercise. If that’s your favorite though, of course we want to hear about it. Whether it’s conventional exercise programs or ways that you simply incorporate more movement into your day-to-day life, please share!

I hope you each have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!

Blessings,

~Terri

  1. I find gardening great for stretching those limbs. Yoga also helps me enormously but it has been a journey to find the right class. Chi Gung exercises are included in the one I attend these days which are great to practice on a daily basis. Happy weekend Terri.

    1. Thanks for sharing Brigid! I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to get “gardening fever.” I get through the cold days of winter by poring over seed catalogs and planning my garden. 😊 I’m glad you’ve found a yoga class you enjoy now. Thanks again for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. I love these “what are your favorite posts”! I learn so much! I may have to steal this idea. 😉

I personally love my gym. But I also love my walktop. It’s a desk that attaches to my treadmill. I keep the speed low (2.0 mph or less) and can write and walk at the same time. It keeps me from getting antsy and snacking. I found it also keeps me better focused when writing.

Happy Friday my beautiful friend! Have a wonderful weekend! Xoxo

    1. Thank you so much Cheyenne, and thanks for sharing! Like you, I learn a ton from everyone else with these posts. If you start doing question posts I can learn even more. 😊 I used to love the gym also, and whenever I walk into one, I still get that old sentimental feeling…. I love the idea of the walk top, but I had to laugh when I thought about me trying to use one.😄 You know those videos you see of people falling off the back of their treadmill? That would be me, because I’m a klutz. It does sound like a wonderful idea though.
      Have a fantabulous weekend!

  3. Yes, little walks, especially along the waterfront…great for body & mind.
I also do very gentle stretching each day…only what I can cope with some days more than others, it does help the pain not to be so intense. 😉

  4. This is a great question! I wish I was better at exercising, but i typically hurt too much and do not really do much! It is amazing that I am not 300 lbs. I do snowboard some, but not a lot. I probably need to find something. I want to join a place with a pool, but they are too expensive and it would be pointless to do that where I am living now considering we are moving really soon. I hope to find somewhere not too expensive where we are moving to.
You always ask great questions! I hope you had a great weekend!!!

    1. Thanks for sharing Alyssa! I think a lot of us who live with chronic pain have a hard time exercising sometimes. That’s why I love non-traditional methods for adding some movement into our lives.😊 Water exercise is wonderful for lots of people. I hope you’re able to find something near you once you move. Have a fabulous week!

    1. Thanks for sharing Christy! My husband was an avid runner up until a few years ago and he says there’s nothing like it. He often talks about how much he misses it. I, on the other hand, always say that I don’t run unless someone’s chasing me.😂 I’m glad you’ve found something you enjoy so much. Have a fabulous week!
