Happy Friday everyone! Can you believe it’s the third Friday of January already??? I hope you’ve had a good week and are ready for the weekend.

Many thanks to all of you who shared your favorite way to grow your blog last week. You guys really gave some fantastic pointers! If you missed it, you can check out everyone’s answers here.

This month’s questions are all about blogging, so this week, enquiring minds want to know…

What’s your favorite source for the images you use on your blog?

Please tell us where you find and/or make the images you use on your posts to add visual interest.

I hope you each have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!

    1. The ones I use most, Pixabay and Unsplash, and ones where you are free to use them (without any copyright or needing to give ‘credit’).

Your photos are always brilliant, not just in terms of content being so original, but the quality, too. I can’t even take a picture of the book I’m reading without shadows all over it and the colour looking completely off! x

      1. Thank you! I’m going to bookmark them for future use! πŸ™‚ Even though now I feel it would be wrong to have any photo on my blog that didn’t contain a knitted donkey… πŸ™‚
I’m sure you’re not that bad at taking photos. πŸ™‚ xxx

    2. I love your photos Heather! Dizzy and her friends have trotted their way into my heart…. :o) Like you, I’m always concerned about using other photos — I don’t ever want to use anything I’m not supposed to — though I have used a couple that I got from Canva when I didn’t have an image that fit my post. Thanks for sharing, and have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks for sharing Caz! I’ve heard about Pixabay, but I didn’t know about Unsplash, so you taught me something new today! I know there are several great sites you can go to to get photos, etc. but I’ve only used Canva so far. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    1. You take some stunning photos Brigid! I always love seeing the pictures of your garden and your adventures. :o) I take most of my own photos, though I have used a couple from Canva when I didn’t have anything that fit my post. I always use Canva to do my Featured Image so I can put my title on them. Pixteller is another one that’s new to me. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for sharing – I hope you have a lovely weekend!

    1. Thanks for sharing V.J.! I’ll definitely have to check that out. I’ve used Pic Collage to do some things with photos, but I haven’t had great luck with it, and I haven’t had a lot of luck personalizing my pictures themselves with Canva, although I love it for everything else. Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

    1. Thanks for sharing Elaine! I always enjoy seeing your artwork and photos, especially those paintings where you show your progress.😊 Being able to see your progress gives me hope that I might be able to do it some day. Hope you have a wonderful weekend,

  1. Love this question and the answers! Definitely need to reference this as I don’t really use a lot of images on my blog but would like to start adding a splash of color here and there 😊 Thanks for throwing this question out there Terri! God bless ❀

  2. Thank you for asking this question Terri! I have learned so much on where others get pictures from for their posts. I honestly have been going to Google to find pictures. Now I have so many other options!!!! I hope you have a great weekend!!!!
