Happy Friday everyone! Can you believe we’re already halfway through the month of December?! I don’t know where the time goes….

Thanks for sharing some great cleaning hacks last week. I think the consensus was that most of us would rather hire someone else to do the cleaning, but for those of us who have to do our own, you all shared some great ideas to help make it less painful. :o)

This week’s question is

What’s your favorite item that makes your life easier?

Whether it’s something big or small, please share something that makes living your everyday life easier.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. My favorite help for living with ME/CFS, fibro and neuropathic pain is my service dog, The Divine Miss Em. Because my cells do not make energy, she pulls me so I am using mostly her energy to walk. I’ve had her for almost three years.

  2. Great question! I’d have to say my electric teapot which I’ve used daily for about 10 years but the past few it’s been a life saver. On days when I can’t imagine going up and down the stairs repeatedly I bring it to my room with some instant oatmeal packets and tea bags and I’m set for the day.

  3. I just have to share my favorite item with you all because especially after last weekend, I’m in love with it. I can’t sit at my desk and work on my computer for very long at a time, so I do a lot of my blog interaction on my iPad. That was starting to cause problems in my neck and shoulder from holding it, so I got a Brookstone lap desk a while back. It has cushioning on the underside and the top is, of course, hard. The surface is textured so that your devices don’t slide off of it, and the top comes off to reveal a small storage area in your “desk.” I use it all the time to hold my iPad, but last weekend, it was a life-saver. I had 38 Christmas cards to put a little note in before Sunday and we were travelling to our celebration with our extended family, so I just took my lap desk with me, and as I finished each card I tucked it into the opening. It allowed me to use the hour-and-a-half drive each way to get something done instead of “helping” my husband drive. I’m sure he has a newfound appreciation for it now too. :o) It can be a little pricey, but it’s worth it. I got mine at Barnes and Noble and was able to use a 40% off coupon, so I got a really great deal on mine.
