The first iris blooms

Iris Bloom

All of these seem to be such small things, but they fill my heart with joy.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed by this cluster of symptoms called fibromyalgia and start down the road to a full-blown pity-party, but then I’ll have one of these joyful little reminders that life is a gift, full of wonderful surprises. My spirits lift and off I go to face another day.

Please share some of the small things that bring you joy!

Blessings,

~Terri

  1. I love watching the birds eat at the bird feeder, I love feeling the warm breeze, I love looking at the moon at night before I go to bed, I love sitting and spending time outside, I love the weeping willow tree in my backyard, I love that Spring is finally here and that Summer is coming. I love the pictures that you posted…that Iris is gorgeous. Enjoy your asparagus!! πŸ™‚

  2. Terri, you are so right. It is the little things that bring us joy! I love seeing the first tulips come up! I even simply laugh when my dog comes to the door filthy wet and muddy because she has decided to go swimming and role in the mud… what a grand time she must have had! There is so much joy for us to find. Thanks for sharing this post.~Kim

  3. Great post and beautiful pics. I enjoy hearing the birds chirping and seeing a cute bunny hop across the green lawn because I startled him as I open the garage door to head to work at 5:30 am. I enjoy hearing my brother who has DD, describe his day and ask about my day and about each of my family members. I love coming home at the end of the day and being greeted with a hug and kiss from my recently retired hubby. My future is bright – I gotta wear shades πŸ™‚ thankful for transition lens- which means I have shades on all the time. Thankful for you my friend who reminds me often to pause and Enjoy the many blessings – no matter the size.
